The service life of drawing stamping parts depends on reasonable mold structure, high manufacturing accuracy, good heat treatment effect and correct selection of punch, installation accuracy of drawing stamping parts, etc. Besides, the correct use, maintenance and maintenance of the mold can not be ignored, which should pay attention to the following points:

(1) Before installation and use of tensile stamping parts, strict inspection should be conducted to remove dirt and check whether the guide sleeve and mold of tensile stamping parts are well lubricated.
(2) when the punch and concave die of the drawing stamping parts are worn, they should be stopped and grinded in time, otherwise they will rapidly expand the wear degree of the cutting edge of the die, accelerate the wear of the die, and reduce the quality of the stamping parts and the life of the die.
(3) To ensure the service life of the drawing stamping parts, the spring of the mold should be replaced regularly to prevent the fatigue damage of the spring from affecting the use of the drawing stamping parts.

Drawing stamping is a forming processing method that relies on press and die to exert external force on plate, strip, pipe and profile to produce plastic deformation or separation, so as to obtain the required shape and size of the workpiece (stamping). Stamping and forging are plastic processing (or pressure processing), collectively called forging. The blank for stamping is mainly hot-rolled and cold-rolled steel plate and strip.

Stamping parts are mainly metal or non-metal sheet metal, with the help of the pressure of the press, through the stamping die stamping processing, it mainly has the following characteristics:

(1) stamping parts are made by stamping under the premise of not much material consumption. The parts are light in weight and good in stiffness. After the plastic deformation of the sheet metal, the internal structure of the metal is improved, so that the strength of stamping parts is improved.
(2) Stamping parts in the stamping process, because the surface of the material is not damaged, it has good surface quality, smooth and beautiful appearance, which provides convenient conditions for surface painting, electroplating, phosphating and other surface treatment.

Compared with castings and forgings, drawing stamping parts have the characteristics of thin, uniform, light and strong. Stamping can increase rigidity by producing parts with stiffeners, ribs, undulations or flanges that would otherwise be difficult to produce. Due to the use of precision die, workpiece accuracy can reach micron level, and high repetition accuracy, consistent specifications, can be stamped out of the hole, boss, etc..
